Whilst on the subject i would like to make mention that i receive packages from around the world on behalf on an American coin collector and packages for an English stamp collector which i then re-package and mail off to them on a weekly basis if there are quite a few on hand or monthly if only a few at a time comes in.This situation was purely built on trust and i have never ever met them in person although i too only have an interest in rare world coins, just by email and photos of these pen-friends.

I started helping them out when their packages started disappearing or having been opened by customs and damaged in some instances. These customs guys used to actualyl leave finger prints on proof coins....phew..and thats the end of its life & collective values. They used to tear up valuable stamps whilst opening/inspecting these packages.Don't talk about unnecessary customs tariffs and fees on their end as an added injury.
Since then about 4yrs & 5yrs respectively (touch wood) each and every package that i sent across was received safely without any hiccups or being opened,or tampered in any way and customs free at that.I would have to relax on explaining the crucial intermittent & latter but know that i was ever ready to do this for them with love & content and if im unavailable in any instant then Dad does it for them.

Its good to know or hear that there are also other members on our forum who are prepared to help in a similar way.

I'd like to offer my services if I can. I'm at the post office everyday Mon-Fri, and I post worldwide daily too. I can even repack items if they arrive unsuitably packed to be resent abroad.

Thank's for your input Shockwavetrading. I think I can speak for several forum members on how good your parcels are packaged in such a secure way and I am certain many members will have very few problems with your very kind offer as part of the members 'Pen-Friend' system.

Ghosty.
