This is my tour de france giftset,very apt as they came through my home town in Yorkshire today... :D

Hello Familybucket43, that's a very nice set you have got there, don't see many of these because these sort of models are seasonal, like Christmas promotional models, you only really see them once a year!

It would have been good if you could have taken it with you and got it signed by one of the riders passing through but on a drinks stop or something, especially a team leader from the French team, that would be something to treasure!

Thank's for showing it, I really like it.

I used to have the earlier open-backed Red Citroen version

Good idea about getting it signed,but those tour de france riders were not stopping for anybody! after waiting 2 hours it took a mere 5 seconds for them to pass us by onto another town..... :( ps-forgot to mention,this set is from 1981.
