SF-41 RED SCRIPT BOX

Post by motorman »

I have finally managed to get my hands on a decent red script type "F" box to go with my solid thin wheel SF#41 with black base. Very nice in my opinion!

Very nice Jason,

My box is not mint like yours. One day i will find a mint box to go with the car but in the meantime i am very happy despite the edge wear.

There arent enough of these red script boxes surviving for all vintage SF collectors to have one each so even in this condition its very nice to have, mine is even more worn by ravages of time so i wont post a closeup of it !!!

Mick, It is a nightmare to find a good example of this box, I ended up paying more for my box than i did for the car, even with the box showing wear. All the flaps are intact so i intend to iron out the box when i get a second to give better shape.

Hi there motorman,

That box you have, can I borrow it for an evening, my girlfriend has just said NO and I need to have S..!!!, and that box will do it for me.

Isn't that just something to behold, I wish I could find one for my 69c Silver Shadow, I don't even know if one exists, but if it does, I hope its got my name on it.

Well done for securing it, I hope you don't damage it during your ironing session, just don't mix it up with your smalls.......

Cheers,
GHOSTHUNTER.
