Like most of us Tom, you'll still need to be looking for that elusive gray plastic roller variation.
But seriously Tom...... $3.00 for a mint boxed vintage MATCHBOX Toy! How are you sleeping at night? You stole it!
Nice lineup my friend!
Will we see you in Albuquerque in July? Bob and I have missed you on our Albuquerque tours.

Re: New 49a This week.
Can you help with the code on this 49a shown on the left and top in the photos (shown with a 49a5 for comparison)? This is like Nick's code 10, but with no ejector ring and axle platform forward.
Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill, I don't think that fits into the variation table, could it be an unlisted?.pkp448 wrote:Can you help with the code on this 49a shown on the left and top in the photos (shown with a 49a5 for comparison)? This is like Nick's code 10, but with no ejector ring and axle platform forward.

Just received the 49a on the left with a different decal. Does anyone have any information on this decal? Both models shown are unlisted--like Nick's code 10 but with no ejector ring and axle platform forward.
Re: New 49a This week.
I've not seen that before, my first guess would be an after-factory application because these decals were so commonly used by kids years ago on all sorts of models. Might be wrong though. Is that a very feint circular decal residue left of the star or maybe an illusion? It did remind me of one I used to own. I think it was probably tampered with judging by the messy circle outline visible around the star rather than a decal error.

I can't see any reside, must be an illusion. When comparing stars, this star is about 2mm smaller than the normal star/circle decal and appears a little brighter white.

Hi Bill.
I would have to agree with John, It does look like a decal from a model kit was used on this model.
