Wondering about the quicklinks area.

Post by Brad Pittiful »

we all know that the quicklinks section is awesome...but i was wondering...could a check box be added to each code line

so say you had a code one of a 1a road roller...and at the very end of each code line another box was added that we could check on the webpage so we can see what codes we have...like some polls on message board there is a box to check and that would be what im referring to

i guess that wouldnt be possible as it wouldnt be able to be saved and if it was it may not be able as to use so much memory on the site

but one thing more...what about a box at the end of the code like that if we printed the page or copied it on the pc there would be a place for us to put a check mark for our own cataloging!

just a thought

be cool to see what everyone thinks and the reasons it wouldnt be possible
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

No problem Dan, my pleasure. Here is what you may find if you right-click with your cursor on the listing itself...an option to 'Save as...' or 'Print'...unfortunately I don't have a printer available to see how it prints out, but if you save it to your 'Pictures' folder, then open it in the 'Paint' programme, you can copy and paste the extra box onto the end of the main listing as I have done in the 'Mock-Up', save it, close the programme and then print it out, you should then have a paper copy of the listing with the added 'Check Box' for you to tick.

If you want to try it, good luck.

This is something I have wanted to add to my site for a long time, Sadly it does not seem a possibility at the moment, The database has to be worked from a .php webpage and my site is .htm
Maybe in the future it will be possible.......

I will try to make a small prototype of a PHP page using Dan's suggestion in mind after my exam on 10th July ;)
