The Grey Bases

Post by kerbside »

Hello Alex, a nice model 32a sf you got with the Grey base, these three models always fetch a higher price than the normal chrome base models.

These same three models in the regular wheels come with a White base and grill and they too fetch much more than the normal issues, in the Superfast and the Regular wheels #51 always seems hard to find and always seems to realize a much higher price in both cases.

All 3 have eluded me so far, indeed aside from my childhood SF51 I havent actually found anymore in good condition at toyfairs or fleamarkets in 15 years of looking!

I think that #51 was the sort of model (toy) that was great in the sand pit for play value.
