Sf #34 Formula 1 Racing Car

Post by Sir_Matchbox_96 »

Good evening!

I bought this #34 Fromula 1 Racing Car in a lot.
As you can see it got spiro wheels fitted but these aren't the ones from a #19 Lotus racer. These are the bigger ones, used on the #28 mack dump truck.
The rear of it looks a bit odd. Please have a look.
Greetings,
Linus

The third picture down shows the baseplate damage, someone seems to have forced it away from the rear of the body to fit a set of different wheels!

I have to agree with Ghosty. It does look as if someone has forced the rear of the model. The rivet may be intact but if you look closely at the base shot you can see the rear part has been bent quite considerably allowing for the replacement of the larger spiro wheels.

Thanks Ghosthunter and motorman!
After holding it in my hand and watching it a while, I hold your view!
The rivet looks fine...odd! Some pro's must have done this :D

Have a nice weekend,
Linus
