Re: Casting #3
Hi George! Caveman computer NON-expert kwakers here. LOL
When you are in the middle of a Post on this new Forum, you can hit the 'Vintage British Diecast Website' icon at the top of the page whenever you need to. That takes you to the opening page where you can click Nick's listings, check them if you want to, then simply backspace several times to your original unfinished Post which still stays as you left it. The old LeFora site would never let us do that without opening a whole new window to see Nick's listings. If you left your Post on the LeFora site, you lost it completely and had to start over. That does not happen here George, so drift to Nick's listings any time you need them, and you can then come back knowing Nick's codes and info. So simple even a Caveman discovered he can do it.....LOL kwakers

I find that right-clicking on the link and then opening it in a new tab is much more convenient.kwakers wrote:When you are in the middle of a Post on this new Forum, you can hit the 'Vintage British Diecast Website' icon at the top of the page whenever you need to. Re: Casting #3
Hi Antonin, thanks for the extra pics.
I could be wrong as your last pic isnt too clear to notably identify a ridge and pardon me if i am wrong but i lean towards your specimen being one that had the tipper gate turned inwards during the spray process thus creating the depression in the thick enamel coating which somewhat simulates or assumes a ridge.
Please clarify.

if it would be a thick layer of painting, it could not create so sharp and deep cuts in the ridge.
