Post by Sir_Matchbox_96 »

Hi all,
Here my finds from yesterday, when I went to a local fleamarked.
The three Corgis and the Siku crane I bought for my dad. He had to work the whole weekend and was not able to visit the fleamarked...so I played Santa Clause and bring him some presents :)

Prices:

Yesteryear: Y1 Ford + Y4 Opel + Y6 Cadillac + K5 Foden Dumper Truck + Siku Crane: whole lot for 4€ (3.30£)
Rw #10 Pipe Truck 1,50€ (1.20£) (yes I'am very proud of the single Pipe..It's the only one I have  :D )
Rw #54 Cadillac Ambulance 6€ (4.90£)
Rw #25 Petrol Tanker 0,50€ (0.40£)
Super Kings Mercedes 0,50€ (0.40£)
Matra Rancho 0,50€ (0.40£)
Ambulance 1€ (0.80£)
Corgi lot 1,50€ (1.20£)

Have a nice day,
Linus

Nice finds! That's a great flea market where you can find so many at such good prices.
You father is a lucky man to have a son bring Christmas in June!
Happy hunting!

A very nice assortment of finds. I like the Unimog, you don't see them too often, it just needs a canopy :D

Thank you for your kind posts 'MatchboxFreak' and 'Johnboy'!

@Johnboy: Yes the poor unimog without canopy...but it will be hard to find a canopy without buying a second unimog :D

I have found the corgi road roller in a 1978 catalogue and also the Siku crane in a 1969 Siku catalogue. (See pics below)
But at what time was the corgi unimog and the corgi qualitoys turbine truck made?

Greetings,
Linus

I'm not sure about the turbine truck. Corgi released a number of turbines and I do recall this one came with a trailer. Perhaps someone can check the date, but I would guess early/mid 70s.

Great pics, thanks for showing. I had these as a set when I was young but I didn't realise that they were carded separately.
