Matthias. I know who you bought this #5 from and now note the loose glazing on this #5. For these two reasons it may be prudent to have a good look at the base rivets.

Unfortunately i dont have a lot of confidence in this seller.

The glazing is fixed in later produced Brazilian Bulgarian and you can see that they are not fit well, and yes he is Matchboxtom and he could be a fake.

You are a very experienced Matchbox collector Matthias, i am sure that if you had any concerns that this Europa had been tampered with you would be posting it straight back to that seller and asking for a full refund.

Got this weird one last year, from Rob F, in Esher. Motorman has shown a pale pink Lotus fitted with thin wheels, well her younger sister has medium (4mm) wheels. Could be a sunfade, but colour is rather even. Base is tarnished. I'm leaning towards "factory error". What do you think ?

Lilac pink (thin wheels) / Pink (medium wheels) / Pale pink. I will probably check wheel numbers for this group in a near future...
