Hello Mike, if it was mine I would leave it on. It's a little reminder of the toy's past. Removing it may also leave a damaged area of paint underneath if you're not careful.

the label is attached nich new.
I also see these stickers have long time on the model.
there are also signs of use to see.

Mike I agree with John leave it on, if it's a label you might be able to soften the adhesive backing but you could damage the paint, I have a #62 rentaset van with a number plate decal that doesn't look out of place, btw your English is fine better than some natives over here

Mike, I am sorry but i cannot disagree more with the advice you have been given!!

That number plate label is not original to the model and therefore should not be there. Get your wife's hairdryer our and blast that label to buggery to loosen the adhesive then remove it and bin it!!!!

It has no place on this variant.

The trim is a bit messy around the right hand headlight isn't it? I don't have many trimmed Matchbox but they are all much neater than that.

I checked several Wolseley with silver trim.
Also these models were not properly trimmed at the headlights.
I think this is so in the older RW models.

Hi Mike, I found my gold trimmed Wolseley at the Dayton Toy Show a couple of years ago. I think they are fairly hard to find. Both my model with silver and gold trim have glossy black paint on the base.

Very nice, the gold trim version is only listed with the flat black baseplate. I have one with goldish trim but I think it's one that falls into the trim debate (possibly gold/silver mixed together).
