These black wheels smaller than the other.
Or just an optical illusion.

I vote smaller too. Mike you can buy a digital caliper/Vernier etc cheaply on ebay and they can be useful for checking these sort of measurements :)

Your black wheeled model is interesting Mike. Where else within the range were there black plastic wheels used that were less than 7.0mm in diameter? What other toy was fitted with wheels this small that could have been the source for these wheels on Mike's trolley?

I al you can not judge by the GPW model in the 2nd photo as that is nearer the camera than the other two, as you can see that the mud guards are higher.

I have just checked three of mine with a veneer the GPW was 7.39 the SPW was 7.21 and the BPW was only 6.91, so none of them was 7.5 as listed, so I suppose it depends on the child who had them before you ran them on the carpet or the concrete to wear the wheels down. :?: :?

Other collectors may think differently to me, and I do not think any wheels less than 7.5mm were ever used, only on hubs were smaller sizes used.

Hello George,
Thank you for your interest.
But the tire profile is still very good.
For strongly played models, the profile looks different.
