Bus is well known on the trays but not the 5a but the 5b with 'Players Please' ads on. Never seen a 5a made like this or the Hoveringham.

I've seen a trade magazine cover posted some where with Matchbox Hoveringham trucks all over it and a few years back Vectis sold a presentation pack that was obviously used by Hoveringham to give out to important customers. So this ashtray could have some merit but going off this one photo and with no other information at hand I'd be leaning towards home made by someone.

You might find this page interesting, It seems that the hoveringham astray is a genuine hoveringham promotional.

And looking through the other pages on the site it should give those interested in building customs some great ideas! Tinman....

What a neat site (see their forum has outbreaks of humour as well :D ) - had a few of the MOY ashtrays & moved them on but would certainly keep a Regular Wheel one if I could find one.
