Dan,
Tim (tjlglass) is a fan of these - if it isn't him your thinking of, he might know who they are.
Cheers,
Gavin

Faceless Bureaucrats have feelings too...
Re: Cap guns.
There was someone on the old forum who was into cap guns and rifles and I think he was looking for old ads and a particular model (Lone Star?) but I don't remember him here.Taniwha wrote:Dan,

Re: Cap guns.
Hi Guys, had a look on the old 'Lefora' site and it was "Dayle" who was asking about Cap Guns and only Dan (Brad Pittiful), commented on his request and offered a link to a website. "Dayle" only had 25 postings on the old site, so may not have been regular enough to notice the signs of our move to a new site.

Re: Cap guns.
Very nice Dan, what make are they, I don't reconise the box artwork. My cap-guns were from Lone Star, the traditional Cowboy type in 'Chrome' effect finish and I also have (yes, still got it) a German Luger that I think was from a 'Man from U.N.C.L.E.' set. My biggest gun was one of those 'Johnny Seven' guns, that did everything, it was almost as tall as me!
Thank's for showing the pictures here, a good place for them and maybe we will see some more from forum members!

I'm back again...look what I have just found, the Lone Star 'Man from UNCLE Set' and apart from it's later white plastic items support tray, This is the set I had, but it was in hard plastic with a totally clear plastic lid, because it cracked when somebody leant on it with their hand, damm it!!!

Re: Cap guns.
oh sorry...its by mattel...shootin shell cap rifle...i always thought the words on the cardboard was samson...but i dont see how that ties in with the old west
during research ive come across the cardboard that mattel did for a few guns like that...one is...ramrod the other is....rango which was a tv show that only ran one season and that cardboard is harder to find
here is a link so you can see the rango rifle cardboard and then you can see a six shooter ramrod cardboard
http://www.nicholscapguns.com/mattel4.htm
i think mine says ramrod...now if i could find the cardboard for the rifle that would rule
also i cant believe how small this rifle is...of couse last time i held one i was prolly 10 years old...with a kids hands...haha
oh yeah the part on the side where you put the bullets in isnt there...i wish i could get that fixed...oh well..i got it cheap for now thats all that counts
