The light blue Prefect is a real tough one to find, Well done Ewan.

Thanks guys - I guessed I may be waiting a very long time for another one so resolutions went out the window! I noticed on the 30a section of the site there is mention of a Stannard listing for a blue Prefect with metal wheels and crimped axles - did you ever get any feedback on that Nick?

I don't think so Ewan, I think it is an oddball variation that we are still waiting to find.

Ewan,

That's a great score mate. I've seen a few of these over the years - usually at MIB prices for less than mint models. I can only hope that one day one like this comes my way - even at ten or twenty times the price you paid is a bargain!

Cheers,
Gavin

Very excited :D
I have been checking etsy more or less daily in the hope of finding something interesting and it looks as if it's finally paid off. Postage for this joblot was a bit mad, so a bit of conversing with the seller means this little gem should now be on it's way from Canada all by itself. I had been watching Jason's all last week as this particular model is very high on my wish list but as I expected it (quite rightly) went for more than I could afford. I'm trying to stick to one purchase a month - guess I'll have to stop looking till the 1st of June now

Congratulations Ewan!
It sounds like making resolutions to restrict yourself to only one Lesney purchase per month hasn't stopped you from looking! But it has resulted in you scrutinizing any potential purchases very carefully.
Congratulations and very well done on the 30a and the dooley 15a!
Enjoy and happy hunting!

I had Jason's in my watch as well and like you I knew it would exceed my limits. Congrats on spotting that one, it took some real eagle eyes to see it!
