When comparing variations listings for the "Missing & Unlisted RW 1-75 Variations", I'm finding it a bit trying that neither UK Matchbox Volume 8 nor any of the MICA volumes has an index.
I almost certain that one was never issued for UK Matchbox Volume 8 since Ray Bush wound the club up at the end of that volume, but how about MICA? It seems strange to me that I have not seen an index for any volume, or even a compendium index covering a number of volumes together.
Can anyone provide a definite answer. Does any member have an index for any MICA volume or for UK Matchbox Volume 8?

Re: Missing Indices
Idris,
There is an index for MICA volumes 1 to 17, compiled by Colin Phillips.
If you want one try contacting MICA, I think they call themselves the Matchbox Club now. Otherwise I suggest if you have the MICA magazines look in the back of the last couple of volume 17 and in the backs of volume 18 as Colin's contact details are in there.
Matchbox UK volume 8 index I can't tell you about as mine are now packed away again.
Cheers Steve

Re: Missing Indices
Hello Hugh, I made an index of all the write ups pertaining to the Matchbox 1-75 Models regular wheels only, and Ray Bush did do an index to the models in the Volume 8 books. He did 7 1-75 write ups in Volume 8 in all the 8 Volumes there are 79 write ups in the UK Matchbox magazines.
In the Mica magazines there are about 90 write ups including some on Major models, and each write up can cover 3 or 4 different models at a time.
Also I have got the index covering Volumes right up from #1 through to volumes #21 inclusive, of the Mica magazines.
The write ups in Volume 8 of Matchbox UK are as follows:
Vol; 8 Book 1; Pages 15- 16- 17 on the 47b Commer ice cream van.
Vol; 8 Book 2; Pages 46 - 50 on the 6a-6b-6c Dump Trucks.
Vol; 8 Book 2; Pages 43-44-45 on The Genuine 1-75 Regular Wheel Models
Vol; 8 Book 3; Pages 105-106-107 on the 23c Bluebird Dauphine Caravan.
Vol; 8 Book 4; Pages 144-145-146 on the 27a-27b Bedford Low Loaders.
Vol; 8 Book 5; Pages 158-159-160 on the 50a Commer Ute.
Vol; 8 Book 6 Pages 215-219 on the 30b Magirus Deutz.

Interesting. Just for clarity, is that an index published by MICA or one you have compiled yourself? If the former, who published it?kerbside wrote:Also I have got the index covering Volumes right up from #1 through to volumes #21 inclusive, of the Mica magazines.
Re: Missing Indices
No Hugh, I did both of them for my self.
