Was the Bedford Ambulance ever released in red?

Post by cody6268 »

I saw a Corgi Bedford Ambulance, that's red, which leads me to believe repaint, as I can't find a red version online. But, the evidence of such is hard to tell.

Was it a repaint, or is this a rare version?

The photos aren't very good but I can see what looks like the original cream paint in numerous places, (visible around the paint chips, around the labels, etc) so I'd say it's a re-paint.

When asking for advice regarding a model for sale on the Internet, it is always better to post a photograph rather than a link since, if the model in question is desirable, the latter gives unscrupulous readers the opportunity to move in and buy the item before you get your reply. Similarly, the photograph should be renamed before posting in order to remove any traceable connection to the listing or advert.
