Nick you could contact CEOP with this guys details link address etc. I have provided a link to this agency for any one who comes across any other similar vile links or sites in order that they can report it.

Hi Alex.
I did think about that but hovering over the links showed they did not go to an actual web page but clicking on them would have downloaded something nasty instead, the (clothed) pics of young girls were just the bait.

I deleted two of his post attempts and meant to ban him, but I got busy and forgot. I guess he didn't give up trying to post. Last night I deleted posts by a couple other spammers and banned them at the same time. I really like the fact that the first three posts need approval befor hitting the boards. With the Lefora forum, they all came straight to the boards.

It seems that some browsers are not stable enough to refresh everything on the page, so when I first open this forum, the older 'phpBB'
title banner shows on my laptop and when I refresh the page, the new coloured Vintage British Diecast banner clicks-in. So if you can see the 'phpBB' banner top left of the forum on you computer, try the refresh function.

Is the forum being targeted or is this sadly normal when running a forum? I looked through the list of members and the last 2 pages seem to be full of new members with very similar 'names' and links to websites, especially when compared to the first 4 pages where hardly anyone has a website. Apologies to any genuine members who've joined recently!

Good point Ewan, it clearly looks like a number of dodgy potential spammers in the list. Hopefully Nick or the kind Admins will sort these out.

Still the occasional stragler over on the old forum. (I'm PM-ing them this forum's URL when they make a post.)
I'm somewhat disconcerted that Antonin (aka Schenk) still hasn't registered and so I've just sent him a reminder that we've moved. Does anyone have any proper contaxt details for him?

I already sent Antonin an email telling him that we had moved, I think he works away from home so this is pretty normal for him.

A big welcome to Bill Baraby who just joined (Baraby1969). I look forward to Bills posts in the Toy Box forum.
