I remember my Dad's Cortina with its Vinyl seats that in the summer you couldn't sit on they got that hot in the sun

In Australia Ford fitted 4.1 Litre -250 cubic inch engines to them but they had a habit of catching fire.
Nothing compared to competitors Holden Torana that had 5 litre V8 -308 cubic inches - to Cortina size car.
