I'm just saying that she bought lots of Matchbox off me with little or no problems.
Then she marked them up double or more and sold them back to collectors. It's what non-collector dealers do. It was very disingenuous to post here and act like one of "us" for the sole purpose of padding her bank account.

Did she ever retract a bid on any of your sales Tim, she was famous for it?

Thanks JP for the heads up. I thought those listings had a galaxy type of look. Here's hoping the hydra doesn't pollute Nick's new site.

Jeff, could this be one of the listings. If so I sold this to galaxy for $350.00 plus the shipping about 18 months ago.

Several things come to mind here, She was always asking how much people paid for this and that and always asking how much this or that was worth. She also entered discussions claiming that some models were worth much more than the market prices were bearing.

She disliked all auctions with a Buy-it-Now price because she claimed it prevented a model from reaching it's full price potential. So her repeated patterns were: Always asking how much everyone's newly acquired model cost and defending high prices for many models. Also asking the people who showed rare models: "Who sold it to you and/or where can I find one?" She made cold contacts with many members looking for one on one deals (farming the members to purchase models at prices she thought were cheap). In that same vein, she also repeatedly offered ebay selling advice that all models sold on ebay should have a one dollar starting price (advice she never used in her own auctions). Perhaps she was looking to snag a deal on a little noticed auction.

While she was farming members looking for cheap deals, she was also soliciting her overpriced models to the members with deeper pockets. I know more than a few members who became annoyed with her constant attempts to sell items via cold calling. At first she attempted to sell me models and then she switched so hunting for bargain priced models.

I had to ban her from all my ebay sales because she never, ever read the item descriptions. She would see a low buy it now price and click buy-it-now. When the low priced item arrived, she would email me requesting a full refund because of some flaw. The flaw (or flaws) were always clearly described and also clearly shown in the additional photographs contained with the listing ... which she repeatedly never read or viewed in any auction.

I well remember her infamous ebay attack post warning everyone never to buy on ebay or use Paypal because she had been so badly ripped off on a certain model. She refused to name the seller, point out the auction or even tell us what model it was. Having noticed her obsession with cream Cougars, I performed a simple search and discovered she had purchased a restored model that was recreated into a cream Cougar. Her repeated bidding on this model drove the price sky high (high for a restoration). Looking at the model pics, it was a well done fake!

More importantly, the listing's item description clearly indicated the model was repainted and restored into a cream Cougar! She simply never read the item description, not even after making repeated bids. Even after winning the model, she never read the description. That's what her big "I got ripped off" post was all about ... her own stupidity.

What happened with that model? She tried to sell it here for some laughable amount. Despite her own bold auction disclaimer of NEVER selling Fakes, Repaints, Resto anything and only Completely Genuine Models and Boxes ... she goes and sells the fake on ebay (and then complains to everyone how much of a loss she took on the sale).

Most importantly, she was never a true collector, everything she bought she attempted to resell at a profit. She's a toy dealer/seller who thought she could become a Matchbox expert in a short period of time. She needs to stick with coins and baseball cards. Regardless, she's truly missing more than a few marbles.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
