Yes Dave i think you are right. It's good to see that even in the early 70's kids were desperately trying to get rid of these abominations!!

But you forget that we didn't even had these in production in the 70's! These would be brazillians then.

It does however give me some comfort to know that if Bulgarian Matchbox models were available in the early 70's, that these kids would have been seen sprinting to their local toy shops to get rid of them in exchange for the real thing.
