What do you think of this reverse color wrecker on ebay

Post by Brad Pittiful »

here is the link to the auction

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-MATCHB ... 3cdf759515

didnt someone recently try selling a reverse wrecker and came here to get advice...i saved a couple of pictures of the reverse color wrecker...and the seller on ebay is using the picture i have saved...they are a new seller with 0 feedback...i dont think it was the one one of our member in NZ won...i think it was a more recent like i mentioned before...i cant remember if that wrecker sold and this is another attempt or if some person is using a photo from the person auction as their own

well i remembered i saved a screen shot of the auction and its the same wrecker being auctioned...i dont know if the winner of that auction is selling it or if this is someone trying to pull a fast one...one thing i do know...they are using the same pictures from the previous auction...what say you folks?

here is the screen shot from the auction from last year or the year before

Image

this pic you can see the casting flaw on the step...the same picture is in the auction...they just cropped it a bit but you can still see the silver keyboard

Dan are you referring to the the Auction that Christine ruined for everyone??

My memory is a bit confused on this one but I do recall a member on the original Forum who was seeking advice on a reverse wrecker that he inherited (if i am not mistaken) i am not sure if that member actually listed that #13 for sale.

I'm a bit confused on this as well. There was one where there was talk of paint testing I think, but is that the same one or a different model? Does anyone remember (Tinman, Numi? :D )

I cant remember the name, but isn't this the one that was bought and cleaned up. I remember that the buyer bought the nice clear box for it. He bought a big lot after and tried to sell them on the board, but couldn't get the high price for them, and got mad and quite the board?

This is definitely the specimen that Peter Gilmore won and also as Dan mentioned.
We dont know for sure, perhaps someone smooth-talked this seller into advertising this sale.
