Whats your favorite James Bond toy?

Post by Lrrp59 »

Lots to chose from. I like the Aston Martin and the Lotus. Still amazes me the engineering that went into the Lotus. It never fails. (wet Nellie not to be confused with little Nellie)
And since this this is a family friendly site. Please refrain from the Pussy Galore or Dr. Goodhead remarks.

The gold DB5 is my favourite, Dad bought it for me the day after we had been to see Thundeball.

I have quite a lot of James Bond models, but I like this one as it seems so different.

I'm with "Johnboy" with the silver version DB 5. It was in the right colour and it was in 1/43rd scale (the earlier gold DB 5 was c1/48th), so this was a better toy to play with in my eyes and fitted-in with the Dinky and Corgi Rolls-Royce models I always had to hand in a showroom setting, Like Jack Barclay.

I no longer have my original example but one day will replace it, it is a wonderful toy for James Bond fans and Aston Martin fans, the later re-issue by Corgi lost something, it is not as good.

I have collected many james bond models over the years, now many have been sold or swapped. But I have always kept the DB5 models, I think they
are superb . Great topic Jeff.
