Sorry about the darker pic but had to in order to show the distractions.
My opinion is that this is an outright fake cos this is certainly no Brazilian or England factory pre-pro color-trial.The sellers box means nothing and does not add credence. This green is much lighter and quite new with absolutely no paint blemishes, other distractions &/or chips. The decal is a reassignment. The silver foil on the hubs are stained, silver looks a bit thin/worn.The wheels have some uncommonly shaped indents/dings.The windscreen shows some marks. The front base rivet seems not to touch the base but shows a deeper dish with extra meat on the much narrower spread/flare(correct term??).Why is only the rear rivet chiselled?? Plenty of tool scoring to the baseplate evident. Why so many distractions on the axle-humps yet the model looks mint?? Why is the base chipped (left rear wheel). Why is the base-ridge grazed yet not paint chips evident below the sills??
View all distractions by enlargening the pic and/or use the picture manager to enhance the tones.
This could be a Nik_Stil or Ivo custom and im almost certain that the base and rivets had been glued on but if not then this is certainly a "really good" recreation to fool the unweary.
Just my opinion remember and i would certainly not place a bid on it...not even a silly one....,

It really don't look too bad to me, just your average 30 odd year old lightly playworn toy. but that's just my opinion.

I've had a quick look at that listing on ebay earlier - it sure will suck for the guy who places the highest bid for such a fake ;)

Also,

Which now begs the question "Is this Brazilian" ?
Actually it is DAIMARU

Daimaru (丸) is a Japanese department stores chain, principally located in the Kansai region of Japan.
But that price label is so out of place there! Interesting enough tho... anyway if you look at his finger you can see recent (?) mark from cut, so maybe he himself is the mastermind behind this fake

Numi. My faith in you has been restored!!

I always love to read your detailed reports telling us how it is. You always shoot from the hip and your attention to details is unbeleivable. I think this seller is one to watch. Lets see what other little oddities he conjures up over the next few months.

I didn't think that this car would attract any bids given the state of the rivets, but to my surprise it has 4 bids at the moment sitting at £36 incredibly..... the seller must be loving this.

I did think this could possibly be one of Nik Stils customs, however i have ruled out that possibility as his customs are finished to a much more convincing standard that this one is.
