Needham Market toy fair
I went up to the Needham Market toy fair this morning, The sun was shining and the weather was forecast to be a beautiful warm day. I never found much but I expected that because it is mainly a train fair, My finds were a loose £1 Draguar to fill an empty box, a £1 A1a Bedford cab to go with a car transporter trailer that I already have, a mint 1b road roller for £5 and a loose 2d canopy for 50p. but in 35 years of toy collecting I have never seen so many people crammed into a hall, The crowds around each table were shoulder to shoulder and two deep. It put me in mind of the Japanese subway in rush hour. Needham is always fairly busy but today it must have broke all records, I guess the sunshine brought everyone out. it was packed.
