Caterpillar Tractor 8d engine infill?

See large differences in the engine infill.
Is that ok.
I can not see these differences on Nick's website.
Request for further information.

Thanks Mike & Nico

Poke it with a dental pick or similar object and see if it's some paper thin flash.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Hi Mike
really nice varianion, has not been mentioned yet. Please check if it has squared or rounded edge brace. This variation could be found by 18d Caterpillar Bulldozer (not mentioned also).

Antonin has a silver rollers on his bulldozer

Mike has black rollers on his tractor

nice finds guys!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Hi Nick.
the topic was long ago.
But I'm still on the search for the correct code.
After your code list, both models 8d are code 1
But the open engine compartment is different.
Greetings Mike & Nico. :D

................ The same, even in model 18d
