You need to sign in on the Ebay UK web site. It's different from the US based site. The reason it was only on the UK site is because he only posts within the UK. Had worldwide post been an option, the auction would have also displayed on the US ebay site. Should you decide to bid on such an auction (on ebay UK), it's best to set up another account with a UK mailing address (requires making arrangements with someone prior to creating the ebay UK user name/account).
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I'm no expert on the regular wheel models but one thing that strikes me from the e-bay photo is the paint condition of the door compared to the rest of the model. It appears chipped to me particularly around the raised edges while the rest of the caravan looks very mint!
Fore give me if I'm wrong and I hope I am for the buyers sake but the caravan has raised edges around the door. In fact they appear to stick out further than the door and these are still mint. I'd be keen to find out how this can happen. The only thing I can think of that might cause the door to look the way it is,is the cameras flash.
I too await to see some closer photo's.

Cheers Steve

Not sure if its just simply dust on the matt black door (baseplate paint was never as strong as body paint) however most important is that there are no signs of metallic brown paint on that door under the black

Nick's site has not been showing me the most watched items in each country for about 3 weeks now. I have no idea why not, but when I used to hit on the U.K. flag, I could always look at what was most popular in the Lesney line over there. When I found something to watch, hitting the 'watch this item' made me sign into E Bay UK. I would say 90 % of Sellers in England are glad to let us bid with our U.S. addresses and will ship there. Ask Tim, Jazz, and many Forum E Bay Sellers here and they are routinely shipping to us Yanks. On rare occasions, even customers stating 'U.K. delivery only' will let you talk them into shipping here with excellent Feedback showing you buy there regularly. Try it with your U.S. address GPW, and I think you will do O.K. without having to move to 'The Dark Side' from sunny So. Cal.........LOL kwakers

If a seller hasn't changed their ebay site preferences and they are happy for you to bid, I think that would work ok. But if a user has amended their preferences to block bidders from locations they don't ship to, I believe (although I'm not 100% sure) that this cannot be changed for live listings. However each seller has an exemption list and they can add your user ID to that list to allow you to bid on their items regardless of their site preferences. (Basically, what I'm saying is don't leave it till the last second to snipe only to find out that there's a problem. :D You can always try a low tentative bid early in the auction).
