Lesney no 23 caravan black door crimson base

Post by Liddlecom »

Hi guys, I'm currently in the process of selling my late grandfathers toys collection and I have stumbled across this little caravan. I have have searched online and found out it could be worth a lot of money, can anybody help in determining if this is the real deal please?

Thank you

Rob

The photos on the auction hide proper views of the tow hook which must be the early 1st type to be genuine -also the door hinge inside on the roof and the door step visible when door is open need to be examined. If you have a good macro camera try take a photo through the window opposite the door to show top hinge support.Wheels are correct, paint shades are correct, window bars are thin which looks good so far......

If genuine, it was a very fair price (perhaps a tad low) for that model in that condition.

Thanks for the feedback sms88. Really hope it goes to a good home now! and I'm so happy I didn't accept the £50 someone offered me the first time I listed it.

I'm with you Idris this being a fair price. Had I seen this I would have bid...I don't see much from the UK on ebay :(

£500 is that all it sold for ? Blimey that's cheap if it's real.

Hopefully it went to somebody who is a member here and can show us proper photos of the tow hook and the top where the door hinge fits!
