Recently added this one, very surprised to be the only bidder on this one(happy though).
Model is in very good condition and it looks great on display.
Some sort of trial colour, does have some slight casting differences from all my other ones.

I really like that. I don't know why, may be because we are so used to seeing these models in their release colours, but I've always felt many of the colour trial models like this one, look better than the released models colour scheme.

Thanks Steve, the model also has a red base as well which makes a change. Not sure about the decals being origional but the paintwork
is definitely origional.

Been checking the K39(1) against a very early K38(2) that I have, origionally I thought the exhaust section was the same with no ribs in the middle compared to No 3 .
But the K39(1) is different again with a smaller raised area and the first and last exhaust do not go fully across to the raised section. I assume this was to strengthen the plastic for assembly as it was probably weak across that section.
