there wasnt a base photo until i asked for one...going by nicks guide the base should have a round diff with hole and a brace on the shovel...this had neither...this was an earlier body

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Hi Dan.
The axles look like they are flat heads off of a 50's model and the riveted ends look too small, I would not touch it.

it ended yesterday...sold for $202 usd

It does look like it could be repainted.

Notice it has the same shape to the shovel rivet (which is normal) that a couple of people didn't like in the last hatra thread.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I'm happy with both the paint and the turntable rivet on this one, but I agree with Nick, those axle ends look suspect and a good close-up would be required before I would risk a bid.

They are the only thing that counts here and there isn't a good pic of them. For that kind of money I want close-up pics and several from different angles ... amd all just of the small ends.

I've spotted that the same seller is now listing the same varaition again (here). Since I'm at work, I can only see the single, small photograph in Ebay's normal "list view".
Could someone please have a look and make a judgement on whether this is a second example, or simply the first one coming round for a second time.

its a different model, the one thats listed now has the hole on the base.

are you sure its the same seller ? the first one listed was from stormstoys & he isnt selling any other m/box, the seller of this one is mtchboxusa
