Has anyone tried out these cases?

Post by ford_a_30 »

Ran across an affordable display rack today. They can ship up to 8 with a single flat rate.
I ordered a full case of them (at that price why not?) Hopefully they will be nice.

Mike,
Please use caution as I think she may be better suited for Nico's collection. ;)

For anyone interested in these case for reasons other than the model, LOL:
Cases arrived yesterday, which was extreamly fast. 8 cases neatly stacked into 1 good size box with a single postage fee of only $13 (that rate is valid for up to 8 units within the continental US)
The cases themselves are pretty decent, especially for the price. Single molded styrene similiar to the "Matchbox collector case" display units with a slightly thinner feeling cover. Cover snaps on, tight enough not to fall off but not so tight as to possibly damage it or rattle the contents when removed. Each space is large enough to fit a box, and I used a larger box to confirm.
Each unit holds 65 pieces and when compared space wise to my homemade racks will actually add some total storage in spite of my current set up allowing the cars to sit on the boxes.
I am hoping to get to work on the room Sunday and will post some pictures of the process then. I will be able to fit a total of 21 cases in my space once complete but will be putting up these 8 first and spending some time with them before I purchase the rest. I am in no way associated with this company but just want to pass along a good, affordable storage option.
