Thanks, Kwakers!! :D ... Joe’s words conjured up such a weird image in my head, I had to do something! Btw, say Hi to the Flintstones for me!
;)
Cheers,
Ken

Well just to follow up. My little lot did arrive safe and sound from the seller, early last week, with no additional postal charges.
So I am quite pleased.
I promptly left positive feedback for this seller.
Perhaps one day they will get around to marking the item as "sent" as well as leaving some feedback in return....

It's good to read the comments posted the members here and to know that not everyone conducts their transactions in the same manner as this particular seller. I think ones, like this one I dealt with, are the exception rather than the rule, that's been my experience at least.

My Seller has written me a very polite message back, but has not changed his terms of 'payments expected' on his 'New' auctions. He has 3 models in a group that now have run twice, and are now running again. I am interested in one model in the group, but he has not responded to my request for a Buy it Now on just that used odd casting model.
The two models I did buy from him after the 3 day non payer alert arrived in Great shape. They were 17 U.S. with shipping. One is a 23D Caravan with an odd light color non-blue interior, but the other one is a perfectly repainted 45 Corsair with both very used BPWs and also used plastic window unit. It is so perfect in it's non Lesney shade and paint execution quality, the Seller can't be held at fault for not realizing it is not original. It will live on my shelf of 'Fakes' as an example of the art. The rivets are perfect, but still completely painted the 'new' color, and the body paint shows no trace of the old color at all. Joe will tell me more if I pass it to him for an in depth inspection. This one is nice enough to educate any of us on 'fakes', except for it's 'paint dust' making it below Lesney's usual quality.
I too have now learned how fast the E Bay world is moving away from old characters like me. Thank you zBret and all others for a very informative and educational Post. I agree zBret that these Sellers HAD been the exception for many years, but the hand held devices of today's youth will make instant satisfaction on E Bay the rule in a very few years now. We are all left watching as E Bay forces an 'instant transaction' on us, and are now being forced into this hectic pace in even our relaxing hobbies......Caveman 'Underground' kwakers
