Nice model, Reg.. though it's a bit playworn, quite rare with the 'Rat Rod' labels.

The Wildcat Mustang and Mercury Cougar almost seem related in the Lesney scheme of things, they both have identical 'engine well' castings, share the same engine and the label from the latter appears on the former, as in your model.

I wonder how easy it is to remove the labels without damaging them, as this could lead to label 'reassignments' to turn a common model into a sought-after variant. Interesting stuff, maybe worth starting a thread on! :)

Cheers, Ken

Nice finds Reg, that #46b was a steal!!!

It's hard to see from the image you have posted but is there a dot between the words Beales and Bealeson on the decal.

Just trying to rule out any repro decals Reg in case your wondering.

And yes i agree these Train guys are a hoot. That's were my Tow guide Muira came from!!!!! CHOO CHOO!!!!

Decals are original Reg - dot, sun ray lining up with the centre of the text and correct decal shape as far as I can make out - a great buy at 3quid.

Cheers,
Gavin
