The one I showed is from the first edition. I thought that the second edition is the same as the European Edition except that printing on the back side is USA Bronner as pictures on my side. But I don't have the originall catalog so I can't tell you with 100%

All those military models and Lesney sent a green 70a sample to blend in with them over to Bronner for his catalog! The British Army or RAF or Navy may well have used these in olive,gray or navy blue because there wasnt much choice other than the Morris J2 for 8 seater buses back in 1960........
The real deal can be seen in the backgrounds of many airport photos from c1960 in various 2 tone colours!

OK, thanks and sorry for any confusion. As I might have mentioned, I don't have the first edition of the 1959 USA catalog. I do have the second edition which shows the red/white Thames van. I'd love to find a first edition USA catalog for '59 (I had no0 idea I was missing some good stuff). Perhaps I'll make my own green and white Thames van.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
