20c Chevrolet Taxi

Post by Diecast »

Dick (Kwakers) has written in the 7c topic "To 'Poke the Bear' so to speak on this discussion, two #20 Taxis are known without front tow guides".

I do not know, if in this two known examples is my model counted, but to be honest I doubt it, because this model was within my spare models (I had to overlook a few times already), and only further mention again provoked me to dig out them and check it once more. But maybe Dick is clairvoyant and he suspected the existence of this Taxi in my spare models. :D :D :D Thanks Dick.

Very nice model Antonin, never seen one of these. You must have a lot of spares. Jason

I love it when this discovery happens. A model within our collection is re-inspected to find a real gem. Well done diecast and thanks for showing the images. :D

I like also to see the "new-old" discoveries here e.g from Jason, Brad, John..... I was really happy with this model, it was like second Christmas day :D . I am very careful when I am getting rid of my spare models. You never know, if there is an unlisted variation or you have overlook something.

As I have checked my 20c Chevrolet Impala Taxi, I have noticed several interesting details:
There is wide spectrum of colousr or shades

The contrast is better to see, if you compare only two models side by side:
2 x orange-yellow
