Re: What's happened to the forum?
As far as I know, VBD runs bog-standard phpbb, without any add-ons. As such, updating the core files should be straightforward.
yes, just go to the phpbb3 site and download the latest updates but without that password it will do no good. Only Nick would have this.

Re: What's happened to the forum?

"I am assuming the passwords and / or codes you use Mick will not work for here!!" Correct Kevin. here is a shot of my CPanel and Nick's would be much the same. There are updates to phpbb3 program and if not done we get to where the site is now. Trouble is if you have modified the program ...

Re: What's happened to the forum?

The host service does not provide maintenance or repairs to a program running on it as it has nothing to do with the hosting. I had a few probs on Moyboyz as not conversant in PHP I got a guy off Airtasker who did it for a very reasonable amount. It is basically a glitch in the program to be sorted ...

Re: Harrod's Bread Preproduction Tampo.

if the canopy was reversed then it would mean 2 different carriers for the roof - one way with canopy at rear, tampo would line up with side window but if you reversed it with the roof overhang you would tampo over the side window even if you only allowed for the 2 sides without the cab roof !!! I'l...

Re: Harrod's Bread Preproduction Tampo.

I have same model Bob. All tampo on front and back as well on mine but roof is completely dull and underneath a grainy feel to it. Sets are light beige and green box on side is slightly different shade. The tampo has been done wrong on sides as number is the wrong end. Still cannot add a pic to the ...

Re: Code 2s and MOY" First Series repainted in gold.

The models were done tongue in cheek as an answer to all those ludicrous plated models shown in the later MICA mags in shades of anodised purple, green and red etc. Not sure who posted them either Kevin or Stewart but there was an argument between them that those models would never have been made by...

Re: Ebay fees for you and Me

I agree with most of this however to include postage costs in the bill is outrageous. If you use stamps then tax is already paid and unlike the US we have to go to a post office or use a courier to pick up parcels - I pay them yet Ebay insists on adding this cost to my bil to work out their commissi...

Re: Factory Overpaint - Y-16-1 1904 Spyker

1.jpg I have a Matchbox Y-16-1 1904 Spyker that I'm pretty sure has been factory-overpainted. Green can be clearly seen underneath the factory yellow and, in my meagre research, I found out that the 1960 or 1961 Matchbox catalog shows a two-tone green one which, so I understand, was never released....
