Re: Member VS member trade disputes

I choose to opt out of Facebook. In this day and age, things come and go out of fashion very quickly. I suppose it's always been like that though. Give it 5 years and Facebook will have faded - it will still have a hardcore of fans and users, but one day something "better" will come along...

Re: AGE DEMOGRAPHIC OF FORUM MEMBERS?

Let them read it, by all means. I know the younger ones cannot imagine we did exciting things and had a life before them, I know I didn't when I was that age. My Dad and I talked a lot since I (technically) grew up, and before he died three years ago. It was the first time I got to see him as a pers...

Re: AGE DEMOGRAPHIC OF FORUM MEMBERS?

I had one uncle who was a navigator in WW2 and another one who flew over 50 missions over Europe as a tail gunner. We had to get them both really drunk before they would ever talk about the war. The Canadian government is now in the process of chucking our Vets on the scrapheap. Disgusting treatment...

Re: Found in ebay!

Re: Please, for information on Old Pickup model.

I seriously doubt it is rare as TootsieToy was a prolific producer of toys, all quite cheap so millions were sold. I haven't been able to locate any kind of database on what was produced, or how many of each. I do know that almost every flea market and garage sale I go to has piles of them for sale....

Re: Please, for information on Old Pickup model.

TootsieToy is a US toy manufacturer that is remarkably still in business although they don't make models like yours any more. There is a tremendous amount of information on Cliff Seeley's site here.
