Re: Crescent Austin A40 Devon

Thanks, John, that's the answer. I didn't spot Nick's query last year. Betal made a decent job of the casting but not so hot on design. I agree that it is trying to represent an Austin Devon! Many thanks, Nicholas.

Crescent Austin A40 Devon

P5120145.jpg P5120146.jpg P5120151.jpg I've been asked to add (eventually!) a Crescent Toys vehicles section to my website Nicholas Martin Diecast (diecastvintagetoys.co.uk) and this is a query item. I may have missed something along the way but I don't know where to place it. Occasionally included...

Re: Morestone Esso Series and Budgie Miniatures

There were a few Wagon Train Sets around seven or eight years ago, not seen any since. It was a big thing for three little wagons. The backing card measured 17" (44cm) side to side and 11" (28cm) front to back when flat. Whether it came in a box or not I don't know. Anyone seen one?

Re: AA service bike & sidecar can't identify

It is Morestone No.1 AA Patrol Motorcycle in the Esso Petrol Pump Series which had 'Made in England' under the lid but no other id. It also had a separate yellow screen with a round top and khaki coloured diecast rider with matching cap. Details of this and all the Esso and later Budgie Miniatures w...

Concentrating on miniatures for the moment, TV Series, Mighty Midgets, Esso Series & Budgie miniatures etc. Small is beautiful!

Re: New Benbros pages on Nicholas Martin website

Many thanks, ghosthunter, for your generous and encouraging remarks. I will be adding the complete Benbros TV & MM range during the coming months as time allows, up to the Coca-Cola truck at No.49. It would be nice to add No.50 RAC Land Rover but I have never seen one and no-one else seems to ha...
