Re: Matchbox 62 Mercury Cougar in CREAM

I have one but not in that good a condition but it's better than nothing and only cost $5.
Nice model.

Re: Miss Matchbox Catalogues

Hi Gary, Here is a dolls catalogue that was handy. I have quite a few more, just need to locate them. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. This is a larger one as can be seen when put next to one of the catalogues you show. I also took a picture of it next to the 1975 trade catalogue so you s...

Re: Miss Matchbox Catalogues

Hi Gary,
Yes there are others. I have quite a few. Some for the overall range and some for just the specific range as you have.
I'll try and find them and post some pictures.

Re: "MATCHBOX" copies etc.

Sorry Pablo.
Yes, I can understand the Grusome Twosome not being produced as is a very exact copy of the Matchbox one and would attract immediate attention from Matchbox HQ.

Re: Catalogues and more...

Best place to keep them as the light causes havoc with paper work, more than the models. Kept in folders they are easily accessible for viewing when required. Mine are kept in plastic draws with a draw to a year. I find these very accessible when required. Having said that with the amount of paper w...

Re: "MATCHBOX" copies etc.

Another cool model racer X.
I think you could be right about the Opel. Shame it didn't make it in to full production. It would have been a nice model.
Thanks racer X for sharing your models with us.

Re: K48A Mercedes 350 SLC

I'm with you on that one Bob. I was going to comment on the white wall tires too. Makes the wheels look bigger. I assume this is from the early 80's when Matchbox were doing the white wall tires on the Yesteryear models. May be a spin off from this? Any ideas ?

Re: "MATCHBOX" copies etc.

Yes that's a very good copy. Looks like a Brazilian Matchbox. Did they do any other copies?

Re: Recent Auction Find

Yes, Squid I was lucky! Thought I'd have to pay a lot more for it. I will be selling the other stuff. Some interesting catalogues and as you said I have had a good look through
them. Just can't collect everything so on they have to go.
