When Mattel purchased Matchbox i think that they then hoped that having control they would be able to control who bought which product by making Matchbox less easier to come by hence you cannot find Matchbox so easily. Could the lack of Matchbox models be a ploy of Mattel to make it diffulcult
for for the UK so that they hope we will buy their Hot Wheels.

I posted a question with regards the new Power Grabs range on the same subject
mainly as they are being sold as model in picture box and no blister.

Whilst going through some long forgotten box's came across some
UK Matchbox mags but not just the mags a few letters from Ray Bush.
Also there are lists of members worldwide.
The mags of which there are six are from 1981 and 1982 the membership
listing is fromSept 1978

The range has been around since at least 2017 and the 2018 range celebrated 65 years of matchbox, also without the blister they are more enfiromently freindly.
