Re: 15a yellow mover
Good ideas Bert. Thank you. Yeah the case is great. If I paint it I may try to come up with an easier way to access the cars (but can still latch it closed to keep small hands off). We will see. My grandfather passed away about 15 years ago, wish I could talk about the cars with him. But I think he ...

Re: 15a yellow mover
Ian, I better take you up on that $15 offer quick! Ha. Well thank you guys for explaining everything to me. That’s too bad but all the reason to keep it where it is. Now I’m curious what the story is behind the car and how my grandfather got it. Glad I don’t need to sell it to pay off any gambling d...

Re: 15a yellow mover
Haha I literally have no clue. To my untrained eye the back axles of the yellow look very similar to the orange, and to mine. Well if I ever get it out of the case I will have to stand it up on end like those and get some better pictures for you guys. Sorry for stirring up such controversy with this...

Re: 15a yellow mover
The #15a Yellow on Nicks variation site is my one and as idris noted it only comes with flat head axels as my one has. George T. I am getting more confused by the second. My axles match yours on the guide. What does the other side look like? Like I said I have no idea about these cars so I think I’...

Re: 15a yellow mover
Thank you for your opinion Diecast but this is from the website here; It was originally fitted with six grey metal wheels on flat head axles with crimped ends, Later dome head axles with crimped ends were used. I’m not even sure what you are pointing to in that picture. There are no notches on the a...

Re: 15a yellow mover
Thank you all for the comments! Yeah it is a fun collection and it was good to get them unwrapped so our boys can stare at them. I have duplicates of a few of the newer super fast ones so they play with those and like to hold them up to the glass and compare. It’s interesting the range of guesses on...

15a yellow mover
Hey everyone, I came on a few years ago and shared some pictures of my grandfather's collection that was left to me. It seemed like he put together a nice collection. I never sold any except maybe one truck someone was looking for and I'm not planning on selling any now. We have 2 boys; 4 and 18 mon...
