Re: Tractor - Identification request

cool, thanks Bob for adding the pics directly and thanks Johnboy for the identification. I just took a look and I can see it straight away. That would also make sense as it was bagged up with a lot of miniature figurines and other items, some no bigger than my fingernail. No tractor driver though.

Tractor - Identification request

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone might be able to help identify this tiny tractor. It's extremely well detailed for it's size and age but it has no markings on it at all. Any help is appreciated. :) https://flic.kr/s/aHsmL5w9sD The link is to a flickr album showing comprehensive pictures of the tr...

Re: Bit of help please to identify these Dinky models

Hey guys, happy to get better pictures if these aren't good enough?

I'd just like to know what models they are before I pass them over to my wrecking crew sons.. ;)

Re: Identification Challenge

It looks like that the model is made from -what is known here in France as- "Platre et Farine" which translates literally to plaster and flour, though there is no flour in the mixture. It is actually a mixture of gypsum and clay. A few French firms manufactured models using this material,...

Re: Finding this was a little depressing

Now that is very true guys. Many of the toys myself or my dad played with growing up that survived are now being played with by my son's (6 & 3). They love them as much as we did. They may or may or may not survive a third generation of playing but that's the beauty of them. Bringing joy and fir...

Finding this was a little depressing

In amongst my mum's box of cars was this today. You'll recognise it as a Lomas Ambulance. It's a Grey Plastic smooth roof version. Unfortunately, one of my uncles back in the 60's used to take apart toy cars in their shed and repaint them. In this case red. Not great and probably destroyed any value...

Identification Challenge

So, here's a bit of a challenge. Let's see who's up for it. The pics below are of a Bakelite car I received amongst a bunch of toys from my mum today. I guess my challenge is to ask for your help in identifying the car, who made it, how old is it and is it worth anything? Here's the pics: http://i6....

Bit of help please to identify these Dinky models

Hey everyone, so my mum brought over a bunch of toys that were living underneath her bed the last few years. Amongst them were these Dinky Toys.. I doubt their worth much given the state of most of them but wondered if you guys would be able to help me identify them at least. So, here's a couple of ...

Re: corgi Juniors Healer Wheeler 36B-4 (Purple)

Thanks Ghostie, fountain of knowledge as always. Interestingly the base on both differs as well. In the pic, the blue is at the front and clearly has a glossiness to it. The purple is most definitely Matt and has no shine at all. I also wondered because the pics I found, when I blew them up were act...
