Re: Yet another Corgi Juniors James Bond Aston Martin

This is a real good find. I´ve never seen the short 1001 card before, but ever thought it maybe exist. Gratulations to that find. My thought was, when the Batmobile 1002 and the batboat 1003 on short card exist, there is a chance of finding that one also!! I have the clear window version in my loose...

Re: Can that story be true?

Iam not sure about these stories be the real truth, but there is always something new in any old collector field. I also know of a big box of original figures & parts in existence at an old corgi importers stock, but never had the chance to buy it. I know, the importers get figures and parts for...

Re: Husky renumbered models

For the extra numbers its hard to find a system of distribution or regional delivery. On the first 1000´s numbers you´ll find english early prices like 2/10 or 3/3 and american or canadian prices like 59c or 69c, but also without prices pre-printed. The 1200´s numbers were mostly with 59c or 69c pre...

Re: Husky renumbered models

Only on the yellow blisters you can find the range of Husky models listed with simply added 50 to the normal numbers. The red blisters only exist with numbers 1-36 because these were earlier and yellow blisters exist with numbers 1-43 or 51-93 (higher numbers for american market with 49c price added...

Re: Yet another item from the crate....

Take your Kensington Hilton out of the box and the other side normally reads London Hilton.......... Nice box for this model and this one was easy to find in the past, but not seen many in the last years. Think its maybe a code 3, not issued with that box from Mettoy....! But very attractive! Re: Yet another item from the crate....

Very different to the well known Hilton special in Hilton promo box. Never seen another one like yours. A few London bus promos exist, more Code 3 models but fun to collect. The positive thing is, not so much London bus promos like the Matchbox Londoner invasion!!! Anybody knows something about this...

Re: Another item from the crate...

Not many of this smoked Mercedes school bus was sold. It normally came without the School label in met.blue and htf in med.blue. Came out of the 1970 emergency set #3021 (or accident set) with the smoked Duple Vista coach and later with the Mercedes bus. Think, no parents want to buy burn out school...

Re: Crate Digging - Part One

Very nice blue NSU. This is a setmodel, dont think it ever came on a card. Same as the white one, very htf. And white one has also two different coloured windows, lt. blue and a very dark blue. Looks strange and think, this white one was also setmodel. The others you have shown are unusual colours f...

Re: Newbie with unusual TR7

Iam very sceptical about that painted interior. It would be the first juniors with painted interior for me (if i remember correctly!). I know, that outertrim was sometime handpainted on some very early pre-pros and i also possess many handpainted ones, also handpainted stickers. But i cant really re...
