Another question: what was planned there?
Looks like the Leyland Ergomatic Cab... but the second window looks larger and it has 3 axles.

Linus

Re: #4 Triumph & Sidecar in Metallic Gold
Hi! Without giving a comment if it is the real thing or not, I think you are wrong concerning the wires. From what I understand you say, the rare copper Triumph should have the wheels fitted from the (standard) copper Harley. The model shown by tractorboy has the harley wheels fitted. I added a pict...

Hi! I'am sure many of you know the clear boxes with 'matchbox' logo printed on it Lesney used for the german marked. Picture from Christian Falkensteiner: http://www.cfalkensteiner.com/Matchbox/Boxes/Germany/LS-bxGer-01a.jpg Which models were originally issued in these boxes? Christian states these ...

Re: 38a Pre-Production?
Very interesting model Hugh! I just checked the early catalogues as they sometimes show models in strange colours, which were never used. (or for prepro and trial only) Matchbox catalogue from 1957 shows the model in green. That of course don't match your colour, but maybe give us a hint that Lesney...

Re: Leipzig Toy Fair "Modell Hobby Spiel" Trip 2016
Thanks for your kind comments! I'am glad you found a model without being present in Leipzig, Marcel! Kay had (or has) many nice items for sale. As his companion I was lucky enough to be the first having a look on his models. I found some nice pieces for my collection! Here is Kay's corner at Leipzig...

Re: Leipzig Toy Fair "Modell Hobby Spiel" Trip 2016
Excuse me for the delay! Now it's yet again some type of review... Well, let's talk about friday. Kay and me left the hotel at 08:30 I think and got breakfest. (I usually go without breakfest, so I took my sandwiches to the Toyfair! :D ) After that we met the mbx team around Dirk Schleuer ( http://m...
