Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

Been pretty slow around this thread lately, huh? I had my workbench all packed up with the plans of moving to Florida for a new job, then that fell though and I just haven't gotten around to doing much unpacking.. But I have started to photograph some of the cars I had finished, and here's the first...

Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

I tried a new color on this old Zodiac, I think it works pretty well! Could definitely see this being a color offered back in the day. https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8334/29325860922_ab81f39ea7_c.jpg Ford Zodiac by Logan Abner , on Flickr https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8449/29325860132_873a1673d1_c.jp...

Re: MBXPilot's Lesney Collection

Had some very nice finds from another forum today. Two cement mixer variations: https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8145/29171263116_229b3e21c8_c.jpg Finds 8/24 by Logan Abner , on Flickr And my best find in a while, two color variations of the Iso Grifo! Am I right in saying that the lighter color is har...

Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

I'm still waiting to get a good condition window piece to put in that one, but I'll post pics as soon as I do! This is kind of an odd one that I've had sitting on a dusty corner of the work bench for quite some time now. I came across a strange listing for a mint condition green 300SE body and windo...

Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

Yeah I will admit collecting takes up a lot more of my time than it should haha. And my 1:1 takes up a lot of my time too! But that's the fun of it I suppose.

I get 4 full days off a week, so it does allow plenty of hobby time.

Re: zBret -Bottom of the Barrel finds

Wow nice finds! I have built up my collection in the same way, on the cheap! It's a good way to do it for sure.

Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

Thanks for the comments gentlemen. And it turns out I do have a photo saved of my other customs/restos back home. This, combined with the photo above is all of the pieces I've done (minus the handful I've sold). https://c8.staticflickr.com/2/1479/23910965551_9dbb57bb4b_b.jpg Custom stuff by Logan Ab...

Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

Yeah it is crazy to me the amount of restorations and customs I've done since I started a couple years ago. They really do add up. Here's a group shot of all the Lesney restorations I have in Missouri with me right now, including a few I haven't posted yet! https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8498/2899479...

Re: Some recent Lesney restorations

Definitely! My collection is scattered in a few different places, and the vast majority of my restorations are a couple states away, but I'll get together the ones I have with me and take a shot.
