Re: #13A Bedford Wreck Truck Colors
Sorry I have neither of those castings, any others maybe? The grille does not seem to extend down as far as the Brown one, and the side hood grates appear slightly different The silver paint on these was done by hand, so they’re all a bit different. What do you have that’s brown or yellow? It would...

Re: #13A Bedford Wreck Truck Colors
Very interesting. The yellow one has flat-headed axles, suggesting that it’s older. I can’t tell if it’s really mustard yellow or more of a pale brown. Perhaps you could photograph it with some other yellow models - maybe an 8a Caterpillar or 11a tanker? It reminds me of Idris’s prepro 38a . Sorry ...

#13A Bedford Wreck Truck Colors
In a recent beaters collection purchased from the Netherlands, I found these interesting and thought I would post these, I could use a couple of like condition Jibs if any one has some spare parts. I noticed on the brown one a small dot in the center of the rear most panel underneath. Your thoughts ...

Re: #37 Karrier Bantam 2 Ton Question
On Die cast junkie's model you can clearly see two different coats of paint. So, his model indeed has had two coats of paint applied. Definitely. It shows clearly on the front. The question, I think, is whether this was done in the factory or later. I think the silver grille looks very Lesney. B699...

Re: #37 Karrier Bantam 2 Ton Question
Here are some of the other casting that I have gathered up, as you can see I have a place for the orphans that no one wanted because the were not mint.

Re: #37 Karrier Bantam 2 Ton Question
First and foremost, welcome to the Forum. Second, I think what we need is a comparison shot with some other 37a in order to get a feel for just how different the colour actually is. Thanks for the welcome, I am really glad to be here as Regular Wheels are my 1st love and thrive on variations. Here ...

#37 Karrier Bantam 2 Ton Question
Having had this in my collection for many years, it sets among the other variants of the 37 and is no where close to those colors or any I have seen. It is not a repaint or custom. It is the uneven load casting, It has metal wheels with crimped axles and does not appear to have ever had the "Co...
