Re: Left for dead Vauxhall Cresta part II

Now I see the end result I'm somewhat more pleased not knowing there was a part II makes a difference

Great save.

Clearly wheel size can make or break a project like this a complete set were required.

Re: Left for dead Vauxhall Cresta

Great restoration , looks like a repair that was badly needed with the re-attachment of the base plate halves!

Would love to see the finished article as I have a Cresta also in the process of work being done

Re: corgi diecast restoration chevy impala

Great turn out on this restoration of the old Chevy.

Paint quality is up there with the best I've seen!

Keep up the good work.

Just getting into restoration myself and have a few old Corgi's like this. (pre-restoration) condition of course.

Re: MY FIRST MATCHBOX

I used to have the 'My First Matchbox' garage as a child growing up!

I remember the Rover Sterling came with the set, also had the School bus, Breakdown van, and Volvo Lorry (which I still have).

My Grandparents used to keep it at their house when I went round to keep me entertained.

Re: Dinky England #147 1961 Cadillac

Far too good to restore.. I mean it has most of it's original paint here and is a great example compare this with some of my poor old ones and it doesn't take a genius to work out that this is rather a 'good' example indeed with it' s window unit in great order and no damage to the casting being int...

Re: Diecastmolester's Dinky Molestation

Beautiful pics!

I like the restoration pics being a restorer and lover of Dinky toys myself.

I like the Colour of the Vw Bug and the Panhard

What paint do you use for those?

I see they are not the original colours, but I for one do not mind a code 3 build.

Matchbox No 45b Ford Corsair

Hello all,

Just wondering about Matchbox no 45b Corsair wheel variation.

I presume the little Grey Wheel hubs were used before the black ones came out on this model?

Can somebody please confirm thanks.
