Re: Can't find new Matchboxes

When Mattel purchased Matchbox i think that they then hoped that having control they would be able to control who bought which product by making Matchbox less easier to come by hence you cannot find Matchbox so easily. You can find at toyfairs traders selling tables full of recently released Hot Wh...

Re: Can't find new Matchboxes

In the UK at the moment only Tesco stores have an official channel through Mattel to sell them. I am still hopeful that more stores will, but Tesco is currently your only option. Other discount stores randomly get an assortment in through other means but I have not heard of any of them getting any r...

Re: How many people post here?

I have been using ImgBB for hosting pictures. https://i.ibb.co/NNXprhr/GMC-Scenic-Cruiser-vs-Greyhound-Coach.jpg It is very easy to follow. You just click to add a picture, and it asks if you want to auto delete with the option already on no. I just leave that and click to go to my photos. I add a p...

Re: How many people post here?

Okay I admit I am terrible at posting nowadays. I keep tabs on things by popping in not logged in on numerous occasions, but I rarely log in and post anything. I have been so busy with various things it stops me from logging on and joining in. Work is unaffected for me, as I work in security and it ...

1990 Isle of Man TT promo query

Hi guys, I am a little confused with this one. I had the first Isle of Man TT Race Ford Model A promotional model way back in 1986 as a gift from my friend's parents who had been to the Isle of Man around the time and saw it. I treasured it and it is still mint. I have been meaning to build my colle...

Re: The Lesney - Matchbox Extravaganza!

Why does it only have to be Lesney? I love the Lesney Matchbox stuff, but also like Universal, Tyco and Mattel made Matchbox too. I know many traders tend to have mainly Lesney, but will have picked up Universal and Tyco era (perhaps even early Mattel too) and I would love to have an opportunity to ...

Re: MB99 Bentley Continental GT

It was cancelled at the last minute. It has been replaced by the MB1169 casting of the ’80 Mercedes Benz W123 Wagon in a version 2 for 2019, but due to the late change, it was not available in time, and was also not available for batch A 2020. It is scheduled (hopefully) for release in batch B of 20...

Re: VECTIS AUCTION

Yeah they are not cheap. My small box sent through the Royal Mail in the UK cost £11.45. That's the additional expense of dealing with a business who are including the parts and time spent in doing things into the cost of shipping. You buy something from eBay etc it is just a private person in their...

Re: VECTIS AUCTION

It does take a while to get them. They usually send out around 2-3 weeks after you win. You will know it is on its way when you get the invoice for the shipping.
