Re: Selling My Collection

If you are in the area in 10 days let me know. Unless someone buys the collection straight out, it will be two or three weeks before the auction people would come and pick it up.

Selling My Collection

I wanted to let you know that I am going to sell the Matchbox collection that makes up the http://www.regularwheel.com (http://www.mbxrw.com) website. I have been thinking about it for a while and decided it is time to let it go. The collection is to the point that I don’t know what or how my family...

Re: Forum seems Quiet?

You guys are lucky! Here in the South East US there is zero shows and no toy shops to visit or buy from.

Re: Lesney/Matchbox Photographs

Do you have any Lesney/Matchbox related photographs you'd like to share? Couldn't find a post on this topic, my apologies if there is one already on the forum. This is the photo I posted on matchboxmarcel's post: http://www.vintagebritishdiecasts.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2717 IMG_5938.jp...

Re: Rarest of the rarest, the 1963 UK display for Major Pack

Beautiful display & models Marcel, thanks for sharing. Would I right in thinking this is cut from 1 piece of card and then folded into position with a rear support? Trying to figure out how it was cut to enable the folds if so. Do you (or your kind friend) have a photo of it in a flat position?...

Re: K-8A Question

I am confused (which is not very hard to do). The 1962 catalogs show the smaller decal on the model and the box.

I have a square decal version but not the long decal with text.

K-8A Question

Do you know if the short decal as shown in the 1962 Pocket and Dealer Catalog pages is the first run of this piece? I realize I am missing the variation that has the red writing on the decal, but it appears by the D boxes that one would be the 2nd in the series, and the long decal without the red wr...

1963 King Size Displays

Thanks to a good friend of mine, I was able to add these two displays to the collection (one has an orange bottom and the other has a red bottom): http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk164/matchboxrw/1963KingDisplay-1_zpsbbf37aad.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk164/matchboxrw/1963KingDisplay...
