Matchbox Superfast MB47-c DAF tipper container truck

The DAF tipping container truck was converted to SuperFast wheels late in 1970 and packaged in ´G´ boxes and all blisterpacks with copyright dates between 1969 and 1972.
The colours were carried over from the regular wheels issues - silver chassis-cab and green windows with either construction yellow or construction orange-yellow container.
It was always fitted with 11.2 x 2mm 5 slot thin wheels which could be solid or hollow or a mixture, with only the front axle being retained by a standard black clip.

The removable gray or silver gray plastic roof carries mould segment numbers between 1 and 6. The red baseplates were also injection moulded and carry mould numbers on the inside and feature some small differences on the outside, the most notable of which is the extra ´PAT APP´ which appears on around half of all these DAFs.
This tooling was retired in 1972 never to be used again, and so far no evidence has come to light of any Brazilian assembled examples.
